We’re just weeks away until Splendour 2017 transforms the historic grounds of Wollaton Park. A sell out crowd is expected at the festival to enjoy sets from headliners Kaiser Chiefs, Busted and Billy Ocean. And let’s not forget a lot of laughs from the line up on the comedy stage.
We have managed the press office at Splendour since 2013. Since then the music festival has almost doubled in size!
Each year we work with DHP Family and Nottingham City Council to raise the profile of Splendour. Since January we’ve been building a buzz to drive ticket sales. And we’re clearly doing something right, with tickets selling faster than ever before in the festival’s history!
A few of our PR successes to date include the Metro’s Summer Festival Guide, regular insertions in regional press titles such as Nottingham Post and Loughborough Echo, plus festival press. On top of that, we have developed an editorial partnership with BBC Radio Nottingham and BBC Music, including Dean Jackson’s music show ‘The Beat’ and BBC Introducing.

As the clock ticks down, final preparations are underway. Right now we’re in touch with the big names organising interviews for press. How very rock ‘n’ roll of us!
After that, it’s all eyes on the UK’s unpredictable weather.
