How we achieved national and regional coverage for Christmas at Belvoir Castle – ‘A Regency Christmas’
Our brilliant press team has been totting up its coverage for ‘A Regency Christmas’ at Belvoir Castle. We achieved an extraordinary 300+ pieces of known coverage, totalling 95.6 million reach in the key influencing period leading up to Christmas.
Christmas starts early at Redbrick. We began planning our media campaign in late summer, setting up exclusive interviews for long-lead media features, as well as organising press competitions and fam trips in advance of the event launch.
By combining a mix of PR tactics, we created a compelling campaign that grabbed the attention of the media, both regionally and nationally. As a result, the headline event in Belvoir’s calendar received a record number of visitors.
Our top achievements include:
– 308 pieces of known coverage: Our highlight was securing coverage across radio, print and digital platforms with key regional and national media, the equivalent to thousands of pounds in advertising costs.
Through a combination of press releases, media pitches and advance press previews, we generated coverage in national titles such as The Telegraph, regional news sources, including Leicestershire Live, plus a variety of travel and leisure publications, including Historic Houses.
– 5 pieces of national coverage: We were delighted to earn national coverage for Belvoir Castle with highlights including an exclusive interview with Charlotte Lloyd Webber for The Daily Mail. The piece appeared online and across a double page spread.
– 15+ media visits: We also invited a cohort of influencers to visit the castle for an exclusive festive preview of the exhibition, as well as handling several press visits from local media and influencers throughout the festive period.
