Half-term Halloween Hoot returns to Chatsworth
Frighteningly good fun returns to Chatsworth this half-term with Halloween activities throughout the house, garden and farmyard for monsters of all ages to enjoy.
Anyone who dares to visit the Derbyshire estate can expect an array of spooktacular surprises and terrible treats, with most activities included in normal admission.
Whether it’s listening to the spine-tingling stories from the green lady of the garden or following the petrifying pumpkin trail through the spooky abandoned tunnel, ‘Half-term Halloween Hoot’ has fun for all the family.
The popular Fright Flight leaves the farmyard and takes those brave enough into the deep, dark Warlock Wood, where Chatsworth needs help taking care of a dastardly array of spooky characters. Halloween heroes must blast the gruesome gaggle with water to save the day.
Children can also get face to face with real reptilian beasts; conjure up Halloween headbands and other creations with creepy crafting and transform into fantastically frightening characters with face painting in the Broomstick Barn.
House and garden
There are plenty of haunted happenings in the house and garden too. Follow the creepy collections trail to uncover a host of horrors and follow the map to discover the trail of pumpkins through the dark abandoned tunnel.
Families can also connect with nature this half-term with a trail of outdoor activities exploring the wonderful colours and textures of Autumn leaves, plants and trees.
