How we refreshed a school’s brand for the 21st century
We always look to the ‘why’ when researching brand so that we can create a meaningful expression. Take Ockbrook School. It’s an institution that has been around for over 200 years. So we needed to be sensitive to its legacy, whilst moving it forward into today’s world.
We challenged the school’s age-old motto ‘In Christo omnia possum’ or ‘I can do all things through Christ’, from Phil 4:13. Our brand expression is ‘I can do all things’, reflecting how students develop the skills and confidence to take on all challenges. It’s a powerful message that also appeals to the school’s multi-faith community.
Supporting our brand expression is compelling photography featuring students in typical school settings. Notice they always look into the lense, projecting a quiet, inner confidence.
The brand now lives everyday on the school’s web estate, literature, signage, vehicle livery, pop-up displays – anything and everything.
