New promotional film for travel disruption totem
Another summer and another big video project. We donned our PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and descended on London Waterloo station to shoot a product launch video for L.B. Foster‘s new Inform disruption information totem.
It’s amazing the effect hi-vis has on people. Commuters and tourists alike swarmed around us, requesting information about forward travel, the closest McDonalds and where to buy paracetamol! All this whilst filming the world’s first totally mobile, wireless and wifi enabled disruption management totem. Oh yes, we also had a celebrity photobomb our shoot as Rio Ferdinand emerged onto Waterloo station.
Alongside the live action shoot, we also spent a day in studio filming the totem. We sourced a turntable capable of holding the totem, then recreated the style of videography often associated with smartphone advertisements. After all, the totem does look like a giant smartphone!
We crafted the script, sourced some uptempo music and briefed the voiceover artist, then handed over to our expert editor. The finished two minute production is a lively mix of studio and location footage that gets over exactly what is needed – that Inform is just like a Martini – it can be used anywhere, any place, any time.
