Keeping up with media demand for content about Rock City tearing up its dance floor (literally) definitely kept us busy this week.

The legendary ‘sticky’ floor at Rock City has weathered patrons for the best part of the venue’s history. Now fans of the music venue can own a piece of its history, with more than 8,000 people signing up to buy a piece of its dance floor in just five days.

Media has been all over the story. The first article published by Nottingham Post received more than 1.4K reactions on Facebook alone and more than 8,200 shares. We arranged press access and interviews with BBC Radio Nottingham, BBC East Midlands Today and Notts TV. All the attention then sparked interest from the nationals, including NME, ITV News and The One Show.
