Is it October already? Yikes. Have we really not published a blog post since August? Whoops. Hands up, we’ve been MIA (missing in action) on our blog but it’s been a busy few months for us. So to keep you up to speed here’s a PR round-up of what we’ve been up to in September.
Ed Sheeran vs the Touts
Our lovely client, Gigantic, is one of the approved ticket sellers for the Ed Sheeran 2019 tour. With tickets for Mr S often selling out in minutes and, unfortunately, sites advertising tickets at hugely inflated prices, Gigantic published an insider’s guide for getting hold of tickets for Ed’s 2019 shows. What did we do? We landed coverage for the article through our consumer media contacts in a hope to educate real music fans.
Robin Hood lives!
We’re very lucky to have a fantastic portfolio of travel, tourism and leisure clients. So when our friends at Marketing NG approached us for interim PR support, we were happy to help. Media relations revealing a boost to the visitor economy from new statistics, social media support and organising Robin Hood-themed itineraries for The Times and an award-winning Swedish travel blog was thoroughly enjoyable. Of course, these are just a few highlights.

Yes, the dreaded C word. The dreaded C word in October. The media relations campaign for Christmas at Chatsworth is now up and running; a necessity in order to meet long lead print deadlines and guarantee coverage in the glossy magazines. In fact, we received our first media enquiry about Christmas in August! In the run up to the event, we have lots of coverage due to appear, competitions lined-up and the press call scheduled to capture the imagination of the national press.
Automation in the pharmacy industry is really gathering pace. We’ve been working with newcomer and market disruptor Centred Solutions in preparedness for the company’s first appearance at The Pharmacy Show at Birmingham’s NEC and Expopharm in Munich. That’s involved telling the Centred Solutions story and drilling down into the innovative automated pharmacy dispensing solutions it is bringing to the UK market.
We’ve been on location in Bristol to film Centred Solutions in action, as well as developing a suite of new sales literature and exhibition stand designs for the two shows. And all in the space of just a few weeks. Great fun though!
Ich bin ein Berliner
Last month, we flew to Berlin with engineering solutions business L.B. Foster Europe. It was a great opportunity to attend the world’s largest rail supply exhibition, Innotrans.
