Media Relations for Chatsworth Country Fair

Achieving epic PR results for Chatsworth Country Fair

We were delighted to once again manage the opening day press call at Chatsworth Country Fair. Our PR tactics ensured the event was hotly anticipated by both visitors and the press.

Earning advanced media mentions

Previews captured all the fun of the fair including an in-depth feature in a leading regional county magazine, as well as interviews with long-serving Red Sock volunteers and a showcase of the celebrity chef line-up.

A flipping great press call

This year’s press call featured the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, Fair President Phil Spencer, as well as some fearless Bolddog Lings motorbike stunt riders.

We set it up to provide a fantastic opportunity to capture the airborne motorbike and riders with Chatsworth House as the instantly recognisable backdrop. It was a press call that photographers were keen to attend knowing we always work hard to deliver something spectacular.

Our contact at the Press Association took some truly remarkable photos at the press call. The photos appeared in The Times (London and Irish editions), Daily Telegraph, Yorkshire Post, Yorkshire Evening Post, and several other regional titles.

On the day: Fun at the fair

We also had ITV Calendar on site all day. Its reporter was filming a TV package that aired on the opening day’s evening news.

Meanwhile, BBC Radio Derby’s outdoor broadcast for the breakfast show captured all the fun of the fair. The live pieces featured interviews with hot air balloonists and the headlining horse stunt riders.

Chatsworth Country Fair is one of England’s most spectacular annual outdoor events. It’s great to be a part of it!
