Video projects for the Institute of Quarrying
We’re always up for a challenge, so when the Institute of Quarrying (IQ) asked us to help out with some urgent video projects, our in-house video team stepped up to the cause.
What we delivered
In the space of a week, we delivered branded intros/outros for IQ’s Branch events films, each personalised to the membership organisation’s branches – from Cornwall to Scotland. The brand intros/outros topped and tailed recordings of branch events on Zoom that were then shared on YouTube for members to view in their own time.
At the same time, we also developed the visual treatment for a new six-minute promotional film called ‘Shape Your World’. This promotes the quarrying sector as a future career option for young people and school leavers as part of National Careers Week.
Our apprentice expert
Tasked with generating interesting graphics for the videos, we challenged our apprentice Freya to get to grips with Adobe After Effects to reimagine the opening and closing graphics for the Branch event videos and dynamic section dividers for ‘Shaping Your World”.
With some tweaking here and there, we produced a total of seven Branch Event videos and a final cut of ‘Shaping Your World.’
